David brings over 20 years of a proven track record in the areas of management, sales, and marketing in fast-paced, high growth technology organizations. David has a strong global background and extensive knowledge in technology start-ups.
Before launching his US Tech Start LLC, David was VP of Sales and Marketing at Ranch Networks, the first IP telephone appliance provider to integrate security and voice quality for all IP-based applications. There he successfully built and created a sales and marketing organization, hiring and developing a talented team and aggressively created sales and marketing strategies that resulted in ramped up sales shortly after product launch.
As Vice President of Global Sales at Quintum Technologies, a leading voice-over-IP switch manufacturer, David achieved sales growth over 2351% from 1999-2003 to be named #3 on the Deloitte and Touche's “Fastest Growing Technology Companies in New Jersey”, and #104 and #77 on their “500 Fastest Growing Technology Companies in North America” in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
During his tenure, Quintum Technologies was recognized in Forbes Magazine's “Top Ten Companies to Watch in 2005” and listed #205 on Inc. Magazine's list of “Fastest Growing Private Companies in 2005”.
David began his career at Microwarehouse, Inc. where he spent several years in a variety of sales, business development, and management roles, developing market segmentation strategies and achieving over $400 million in annual gross sales. He spent several years outside the U.S., launching Microwarehouse's first international corporate sales team in London.
In 1999, he was named Director of Sales and Customer Service for Genesis Direct, Inc., a global brand catalog and Internet reseller. There, David managed all aspects of 450-seat call center from startup to over 500 peak time associates. He also served as an active participant in high-level strategy sessions with all of the Professional Sports Leagues.
